US Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) - Title III Digital Accessibility 36.303(f): 28 CFR 36.303(f) Video remote interpreting performance standards

What does 36.303(f) require?

A public accommodation that chooses to provide qualified interpreters by video remote interpreting ensures real-time full-motion video and audio over a dedicated high-speed wide-bandwidth or wireless connection without lags, choppy, blurry or grainy images or irregular pauses; a sharply delineated image large enough to show the interpreter's and the participant's face, arms, hands and fingers whatever their position; clear audible transmission of voices; and adequate training so users and others can set up and operate the system quickly.
