Conformity of production follows Schedule 1 of the 1958 Agreement (9.1). The approval holder ensures CoP test results are recorded and the annexed documents kept for a period agreed with the authority, not exceeding 10 years after production ends (9.1.1). The authority may verify conformity control methods in each facility, normally every three years (9.1.2), and periodically validates, by sampling, that the manufacturer's processes and decisions are compliant, particularly where it chose not to notify an update (9.1.3).
