OFCOM may assess (or arrange for another person to assess) whether a provider is complying with its duties under ss.105A to 105D, 105J and 105K. The provider must cooperate and pay OFCOM's reasonable costs. By assessment notice OFCOM may require the provider to carry out or arrange specified tests, make staff available for interview, and permit an authorised person to enter premises, observe operations, and inspect equipment and documents; urgent notices may take effect at once (s.105P).
