Licensees must not send direct electronic marketing without informed, specific consent (unless the law permits), must offer withdrawal of consent in every contact and act on it, and must evidence consent; remote casino, bingo and betting licensees must offer opt-in by product and by channel (email, SMS, phone) at registration, defaulted to opt-out, updateable at any time, with no nudging in confirmation steps, and must ask existing customers to confirm preferences.
