Remote licensees must monitor accounts from opening using indicators including spend, spend patterns, time, behaviour, customer-led contact, use of tools and account indicators; flag risk in a timely way; take tailored and escalating action, up to ending the relationship; stop marketing and new bonuses where strong indicators exist, acting on them through automated processes with manual review and the right to contest; evaluate the impact of interactions and the overall approach; take account of vulnerability and the Commission's guidance; and check interaction volumes at least match published problem gambling rates. They remain responsible where B2B providers run these systems.
