UK Data Protection Act 2018 s.80: Section 80 Special processing restrictions on data sent abroad

What does s.80 require?

When a controller makes personal data available to a recipient abroad or an international organisation for a law enforcement purpose, it must consider whether a UK competent authority receiving the same data would be subject to restrictions under any enactment or rule of law and, if so, inform the recipient that the data are provided subject to the same restrictions, stating them.
