Tasmania Child and Youth Safe Organisations Act 2023 s47-49: Give accurate information, use it only for its purpose and preserve records

No person gives information in complying with the Act that they know is false or misleading or misleading by omission, unless the defect is disclosed (s 47); a person given information under the Act uses or discloses it only for the purpose it was given or as the law allows (s 48); and no person interferes with, alters, removes without reasonable excuse or destroys an entity's record or document that is, or is likely to be, requested under s 18 or specified in a notice under s 20 or s 29 (s 49). Each is an offence (maximum 120 penalty units).
