No person discloses information identifying a person who notified the Regulator of a reportable allegation, conviction or concern, a child to whom a reportable allegation, notified conviction or finding relates (unless the child discloses and no other child is identified), or, while an investigation is under way, the person under investigation (maximum 120 penalty units each) (s 44(1) to (4)); a head may still disclose to a worker where necessary for the Act or children's safety, and disclosure authorised by law or to police is not prevented (s 44(5)).
