Policies govern use, storage, disposal and reuse of removable media (external drives, USB, CD); holdings and use are checked periodically; use is restricted in controlled and restricted areas housing key systems; measures prevent malware infection and leakage via media; and media holding personal or important information are kept in a locked safe place (Standards for Securing Personal Information Article 10).
