Solvency II Art.42: Art. 42; DR Art. 273 Keep those who run the undertaking or hold key functions fit and proper, and notify changes

Everyone who effectively runs the undertaking or holds another key function must at all times be fit (adequate professional qualifications, knowledge and experience) and proper (good repute and integrity). Undertakings must have documented fit and proper policies and procedures, assess fitness against the duties allocated and the board's collective diversity of skills, assess propriety from evidence on honesty and financial soundness, notify the supervisor of changes in those persons with the information needed to assess them, and notify replacement of anyone who no longer meets the requirements.
