Section 508 - ICT Accessibility (Revised) E207.2: WCAG 2.0 A and AA for software user interfaces and content

What does E207.2 require?

User interface components and the content of platforms and applications must conform to WCAG 2.0 Level A and AA. Exceptions: assistive technology software supporting platform accessibility services; non-web software is exempt from 2.4.1, 2.4.5, 3.2.3 and 3.2.4 and from Conformance Requirement 3 Complete Processes. For non-web software, 'software' replaces 'web page' or 'page', and 'in software' replaces 'on a web page' in 1.4.2 (E207.2.1).
