SEC Climate Disclosure Rule 1502(f): Item 1502(f): scenario analysis, where used and where it shows a material impact

What does 1502(f) require?

If the registrant uses scenario analysis to assess the impact of climate-related risks on its business, results or financial condition and, based on the results, determines that a climate-related risk is reasonably likely to have a material impact, describe each such scenario, including a brief description of its parameters, assumptions and analytical choices and the expected material impacts, including financial impacts, under each scenario. Scenario analysis means identifying and assessing a potential range of outcomes of possible future climate scenarios and how climate-related risks may affect the business over time.
