Conformance, omissions and references (Application Guidance 2 and 6) – SASB Standards

SASB Standards SAG-2.2: Disclose omitted topics or metrics with the reason; disclose any modified metric and why

What does SAG-2.2 require?

Where an entity omits disclosure topics or metrics it should say so and give the reason (for example that a topic does not apply to its business model); where it modifies a metric it must disclose that it changed the metric and the reason. SASB encourages use of the standards even where some items must be omitted or modified.
