Customs may authorise Trust and Check traders to release goods on customs' behalf on receipt at or dispatch from their place of business, provided the procedure data and real-time arrival or dispatch information are available, and to perform certain controls; they must notify customs immediately if goods may not comply with other legislation, present goods for control when required, and warehouse operators for distance sales may release only goods ready to be offered for sale.
