Article 6: operators may mandate an authorised representative to submit statements or simplified declarations for them but keep responsibility for compliance; the representative provides a copy of the mandate on request in an official Union language and the language of the Member State concerned or English. An operator that is a natural person or microenterprise may mandate the next non-micro downstream operator or trader, which must then submit the statement or declaration on its behalf before placing or supplying the products.
