A person aggrieved by the conduct of a registered valuer may complain to the Board in writing. The Board may, on a complaint or on its own initiative, authorise a person who is not a Board member to investigate the conduct of a registered valuer, and must do so where it reasonably suspects a contravention of a prescribed code of professional conduct. The investigator reports to the Board.
