No one requires a prospective tenant to agree to buy goods or services as a condition of being accepted, and the lessor or agent does not require the tenant to buy goods or services from it or a nominated supplier (service charges and lawful pet cleaning or fumigation conditions aside). The lessor or agent does not ask for or receive from the tenant or anyone else any amount for entering into, extending or continuing the agreement other than rent, bond or an amount the Act permits.
