Queensland Property Law Act 2023
Chapter 4 Part 2: Seller disclosure for sales of lots (the statutory disclosure scheme) – Queensland Property Law Act 2023

Queensland Property Law Act 2023 101-103: How disclosure documents are given: physical, electronic link, consent to electronic address, auctions

What does 101-103 require?

Disclosure documents may be given in the ways section 231 allows for service, or electronically under section 102: by a separate physical communication stating that the documents can be viewed by electronic link and that the buyer may ask for a copy, or, if the buyer has consented to an electronic address, by sending them to that address. At auction the contract is taken to be signed at completion of the auction, so the documents must be given to each registered bidder before the auction starts, and a buyer who registers after the auction starts must receive them before signing (section 103).
