The body corporate must keep its accounting records and statements, public authority notices, orders against it, insurance policies, engagement documents, exclusive use agreements, correspondence, committee and general meeting minutes and materials, manager reports and reconciliation statements. Minutes, the roll and registers may be kept as originals or as image copies, and the regulation lets some categories (such as statements of account and meeting notices) be disposed of six years after creation or receipt. Section 232 governs how owners and others access the records.
