Queensland Body Corporate and Community Management Act 1997 s205: s 205 Inspection of records, copies, body corporate certificates and financial information

Within 7 days of a written request and the prescribed fee, the body corporate must let an interested person (an owner, mortgagee, buyer or other person with a proper interest) inspect its records or give copies, other than defamatory material. Within 5 business days of a written request and fee it must give a body corporate certificate in the approved form for a lot, on which the recipient may rely as conclusive evidence except for apparent errors, and within 5 business days it must give requested financial information of the type in the certificate.
