Queensland Body Corporate and Community Management Act 1997 s151: s 151 Financial institution accounts opened with consent and joint authority

A body corporate bank account must be opened with the body corporate's consent and in its name. Where the manager operates it, the account must allow operation by the manager or by the authorised members acting jointly, and otherwise it must be operated jointly by the authorised members (at least two committee members for an ordinary scheme, at least one for a small scheme). On written notice that the manager's engagement has ended the financial institution must stop the manager operating the account.
