Where a search and seizure warrant for computer data is issued, law enforcement authorities may order any person who knows how the computer system works and the measures protecting its data to provide, as is reasonable, the information needed to carry out the search, seizure and examination; the authorities may secure systems and media, copy and retain data, maintain its integrity, examine it forensically and render it inaccessible or remove it within the warrant period.
