NSW Residential Tenancies Act 2010
Part 2: Residential tenancy agreements – NSW Residential Tenancies Act 2010

NSW Residential Tenancies Act 2010 s14: s 14 Put the residential tenancy agreement in writing at the start

The landlord makes sure the residential tenancy agreement is in writing when it begins. A landlord that fails to do so cannot end the tenancy on the grounds in ss 87E to 87M during the first 6 months, and the Tribunal can order it to prepare and sign a written agreement (s 16).
