NFPA 70 National Electrical Code 2023 Article 700 Emergency Systems 700.30-700.31: 700.30 and 700.31 Accessibility and ground-fault protection

Only authorized persons may be able to reach the branch-circuit protective devices of emergency circuits. The emergency source need not have ground-fault protection of equipment that trips automatically; where it does not, ground-fault indication is provided under 700.6(D).
