Agencies that grant limited higher access to information or systems must make sure that: (1) the need for it is temporary and an exception, not the norm; (2) an ITSM has recommended it; (3) a cessation date has been set; (4) the access period is no longer than two months; (5) it is granted on an occasional, not ongoing, basis (the source wording reads "occasional NOT non-ongoing"); (6) the system user is not given privileged access; (7) the access is formally documented; and (8) the CISO approves the access.
This control maps to 1 controls across 1 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.
Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
The graph holds this control, the 1 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
