Chapter 19: Gateway security – New Zealand Information Security Manual (NZISM)

New Zealand Information Security Manual (NZISM) 19.1.11.C.01: 19.1.11.C.01 Gateways protect, filter and are physically secured

Agencies must ensure three things: every agency network is shielded by at least one gateway from networks belonging to other security domains; every gateway includes mechanisms that filter or restrict data flow, at both network and content level, to only what business purposes need; and every gateway component, whether discrete or virtual, is housed in a suitably secured server room.

Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
