For CONFIDENTIAL, SECRET and TOP SECRET systems, agencies must create, put in place and keep up to date a strategy for intrusion detection. It must cover: suitable intrusion detection mechanisms, with network-based and host-based IDS/IPSs where needed; audit analysis of event logs, IDS/IPS logs included; periodic audits of the intrusion detection procedures; programs for information security awareness and training; a documented Incident Response Plan (IRP); and providing, at gateways, a means of detecting attempted network intrusions and information security incidents, with alerts raised in real time.
This control maps to 2 controls across 2 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.
Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
The graph holds this control, the 2 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
