New Zealand Information Security Manual (NZISM) 18.2.12.C.01: 18.2.12.C.01 Validate server certificates and block untrusted CAs

Devices must be set to validate the server certificate; they must have trust disabled for any commercial certificate authority that is not trusted; and they must have the ability to ask users to authorise new servers or new commercial certification authorities switched off.
