New Zealand Information Security Manual (NZISM) 12.6.9.C.01: Sanitise or destroy screens with burn-in

What does 12.6.9.C.01 require?

Agencies must try to sanitise video screens showing minor burn-in or image persistence by showing a solid white image on them for a long period. Where the burn-in cannot be removed, the screen must be sent through an approved destruction facility.
