New Zealand Information Security Manual (NZISM) 12.5.4.C.01: 12.5.4.C.01 Escort requirements for uncleared technicians

When an uncleared technician carries out maintenance or repair of IT equipment, they must be escorted by a person who: holds an appropriate clearance and has been briefed; takes due care that classified information is not disclosed; takes every responsible step to protect the equipment's integrity; and has authority to direct the technician.
