Lawyers must make accurate entries of all financial transactions in their receipts and disbursements records, special accounts, ledgers and other books kept in the regular course of practice, at or near the time of each event. 'Copies' may be originals, photocopies, microfilm, optical images or any other medium that keeps an image that cannot be altered without detection.
