NASA NPR 7150.2D Software Engineering Requirements SWE-148: Evaluate software for reuse and contribute candidates to the NASA sharing system

What does SWE-148 require?

The project manager evaluates the project's software for potential reuse by other NASA projects and offers the candidates to the relevant NASA internal reuse system; if the project manager is a contractor rather than a civil servant, a civil servant pre-approves every contribution. Each contribution carries at least the software title, description, the civil servant who is the technical contact, the development languages, and any third-party code with the record of the licence or permission allowing Government use and any required markings and sources.
