MS 1722:2011 Occupational Safety and Health Management Systems Requirements 3.1.2: Employee participation: consultation, information and training on all OSH aspects including emergencies, active participation arrangements, and a functioning safety and health committee

What does 3.1.2 require?

The employer must see that employees, and the representatives who speak for them on safety and health, are consulted, informed and trained on each OSH aspect of their work, emergency arrangements included; must arrange for them to take an active part in the OSHMS; and must, as appropriate, establish a safety and health committee and keep it working efficiently in line with national law and practice.
