MDS2 (Medical Device) TXIG: Transmission integrity: disclose protection against alteration in transit and externally cabled sub-components

What does TXIG require?

Discloses the device's ability to keep transmitted PII intact: whether it supports a mechanism, digital signatures for example, that protects data from alteration while in transit (TXIG-1); and whether the device is made of several sub-components linked by external cabling, with a system diagram referenced where possible (see DOC-10) (TXIG-2).
