MDS2 (Medical Device) DTBK: DTBK Data backup and disaster recovery: disclose where data lives long-term and how data, configuration and software are backed up and restored

Discloses how far the device's data, hardware, software or site settings can be restored after they are damaged or destroyed: whether the device is the long-term primary store of PII or patient information, as a PACS is (DTBK-1); whether it has a factory reset restoring the manufacturer's original configuration (DTBK-2); whether it has an integral backup of essential data to removable media such as optical disc, magnetic disk or tape, with any limits or constraints noted (DTBK-3); whether it has an integral backup of essential data to remote storage, with limits and how personal information is protected (for example encrypted or omitted) (DTBK-4); whether it can back up system configuration, patch restoration and software restoration locally or remotely, with the same notes (DTBK-5); and whether it can verify that a backup is intact and genuine (DTBK-6).
