Malaysia National Guidelines on AI Governance and Ethics (2024) B3.3: Policy makers: establish an AI governance system with accountable roles, policies and oversight

What does B3.3 require?

Policy makers should establish an AI governance system within their organisation: defined accountability and roles for AI decisions, policies and procedures that implement the seven principles, oversight mechanisms for the AI systems in use, and coordination with the national bodies (MOSTI, the National AI Office and the proposed independent advisory body) so that governance is consistent across government and institutions.
