Malaysia National Guidelines on AI Governance and Ethics (2024) B3.1-3.2: Policy makers: adopt the AI governance and ethics framework and embed the human-centred AI lifecycle

What does B3.1-3.2 require?

Government bodies, agencies, organisations and institutions should adopt the AIGE framework for AI, which places human-centred design as the bridge between technology and ethics and sets the values Malaysian AI governance rests on, and should embed the AI lifecycle in human-centred terms so that AI actors apply the seven principles through design and data collection, verification and validation, deployment, and operation and monitoring, with human judgement and expertise retained in decision-making.
