Plan the project across disciplines from programming and pre-design: an owner's project requirements document carrying a health mission statement that covers economic, environmental and social values and the health of occupants, community and planet; an early LEED meeting (at least four key team members plus the owner) producing an action plan with the target certification level, the credits chosen and who is responsible for each; an integrated team of at least four disciplines besides the owner; and an integrated design charrette of at least four hours before schematic design where practical.
