What does IPc1 require?

1 point; applies to all eight BD+C adaptations. From pre-design through design, look for synergies across disciplines and systems and feed the analyses into the OPR, the BOD and the construction documents. Analyse two of five issue areas: energy (an energy use intensity target by schematic design and a simple-box model testing site, massing, envelope, lighting, comfort, plug and process loads and operations), water (a preliminary water budget of indoor, outdoor and process demand against non-potable supply), resilience (a risk assessment of listed natural hazards and how it shaped the design), social equity (the LEED social impact checklist completed) and health and well-being (health goals for occupants, community and supply chain, prioritised strategies and expected outcomes). Then issue a project team letter from the integrative process facilitator, signed by the principal team members and shared with owners, facility managers, tenants and the community, summarising each analysis and how it changed the design.
