Public and private health institutions and professionals may process the physical or mental health data of those they treat, under Dominican health law and respecting professional secrecy; origin, health and sex-life data may be processed where needed for prevention, diagnosis, care, treatment or health service management by a professional or other person bound by equivalent secrecy (repeated in Article 70).
