Italy Workers' Statute (Law 300/1970) Art. 15: Art. 15 Do not make employment conditional on union membership or discriminate

Any agreement or act is void that makes a worker's employment conditional on joining, not joining or leaving a union, or that dismisses, discriminates in assigning grades or tasks, transfers or disciplinary measures, or otherwise harms a worker because of union membership or activity or participation in a strike. The same applies to acts aimed at political, religious, racial, language or sex discrimination, or discrimination based on disability, age, nationality (added 2022), sexual orientation or personal beliefs. Art. 15(1)(a) is also a criminal offence under art. 38.
