Each alternative solution class is assessed for feasibility against available money, time, people and materials, with the trade-space factors forming the assessment parameters and decision criteria, using the decision management and system analysis processes of ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288 or 12207 to set up and run the trade study. The preferred solution class or classes are then selected through decision management.
