ISO/IEC DIS 25000-23.2 - Measurement of product quality ISO25000-23-2: Normative reference

What does ISO25000-23-2 require?

The draft normatively references three documents: the SQuaRE guide, the product quality model and the quality measurement framework. Every measure in the draft is built on those three. The clause names ISO/IEC 25000, ISO/IEC 25010 and ISO/IEC 25020, and it says that for dated references only the edition cited applies while for undated references the latest edition applies. All three are undated in the draft, which matters: the model can move under the measurement standard when a new edition of 25010 is published, and the measurement framework can move too. The three are not decoration. 25000 supplies the shared vocabulary, 25010 supplies the characteristics and subcharacteristics that every measure is indexed to, and 25020 supplies the measurement concepts and the way a measure is constructed.
