Impacts can depend on the geographic, cultural and legal setting of the countries or regions where a system is deployed, so in documenting a deployment the organization should consider: where the system is deployed now and may be in future; the region's specific legal requirements; its cultural characteristics; discriminated, at-risk and marginalized groups; the languages spoken there and, for natural language systems in particular, which are supported; and human behavioural, social and physiological traits represented there. It should also record planned improvements to later versions for the region's geography, culture or law, and train, test and validate the system (or, if pre-trained, test and validate it thoroughly) on data specific to where it will be deployed so that local groups with shared languages, cultures or traits are properly represented.
