Validation sets and validation evidence are reviewed periodically to confirm they still fit the intended uses, and processes are audited to confirm their evidence is correct and they remain validated. A process that is no longer properly validated or lacks current evidence (a passed review date, changed non-functional requirements) is treated as unvalidated until re-validated. When a validation set is revised, every process validated with it is checked: if the revision does not apply, the original validation stands; if it does, the process is re-validated with the revised set.
