Thresholds, input parameters and the pass/fail rules together form the basis of the verdict and are a required part of the method, but the standard sets no values: they come from the PP, the ST or the evaluation authority, possibly graded by EAL, and an authority may impose requirements on them. Tables C.1 and C.2 collect the thresholds; closed-interval notation gives input ranges.
