The organization identifies what information it needs to support its assets, its asset management, its asset management system and reaching its organizational objectives. When doing so it considers how significant the identified risks are; who holds which roles and responsibilities in asset management; the activities, procedures and processes of asset management; the information it exchanges with stakeholders, service providers among them; and how the quality, availability and management of information affect the decisions the organization makes. It sets the attributes and the quality the identified information must have and how and when it is collected, analysed and evaluated; specifies, implements and maintains processes for managing that information; sets requirements for making the financial and non-financial terms used in asset management consistent across the organization; and makes sure financial, technical and other relevant non-financial data are consistent and traceable to each other as far as its legal and regulatory requirements, stakeholder requirements and organizational objectives demand.
This control maps to 3 controls across 1 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.
Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
ISO 55001:2014 7.5 is one control. If you already hold one of the frameworks below, a reviewed crosswalk already says how much of ISO 55001:2014 your existing evidence covers. Hold ISO 55001:2024 and 27 of 27 ISO 55001:2014 controls already carry evidence.
Each report names every control your existing framework evidences, every one it does not, the reasoning behind each claim, and the claims that were argued against and rejected. 0 were rejected on the ISO 55001:2024 pair alone.
The graph holds this control, the 3 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
