The organization shall establish, implement and maintain procedures for recording, investigating and analysing any road crash or other road incident it is part of that kills or seriously injures a road user, or could do so, so as to find the underlying factors within its control or influence that may cause or contribute to such incidents, identify the need for RTS corrective action and identify opportunities for RTS preventive action; investigations shall be carried out in a timely manner, identified corrective or preventive actions shall be dealt with under clause 10, and the results of crashes and other incidents shall be documented and maintained.
