The organization has to establish, implement, maintain and continually improve the records system, including the processes it needs and how those processes interact. This is the clause that turns the earlier analysis into an operating system: a defined set of processes with owners, inputs, outputs, sequence and interaction. It is also the anchor for integration, because the records processes have to work with the organization's other management systems rather than beside them.
