ISO 26262:2018 - Functional Safety for Road Vehicles 4:7.4.2: 7.4.2 Hardware-software integration and testing

Each element's hardware and software are integrated and tested against the HSI specification and the technical safety requirements allocated to the element, demonstrating the correct implementation and interaction of the safety mechanisms. This sits in clause 7, whose stated aims, per the SGS quotation, are to lay down the integration sequence and assemble the elements step by step into the complete system, to check that the safety measures from the architectural safety analyses are in place, and to show that the assembled elements satisfy their safety requirements, over the three sub-phases of hardware with software, system and vehicle. Requirement text not held.

What else in your programme already covers this

This control maps to 1 controls across 1 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.

Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
